Emily Marie Hammock

Emily Marie Hammock passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00AM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, Georgia, 31032, with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elam Baptist Church, 203 Elam Church Road, Gray, Georgia 31032. Ms. Hammock was the daughter of the late Eugene and Bessie Cunningham, and predeceased by her son, Joseph Terrell "Watson" Hammock. She was retired from Crown Candy Company and was a faithful member of Elam Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a devoted and loving Mother and "Granny" to her family. Survivors include her son, Ellis Hammock (TyRita) of Gray; daughter Darlene Hammock Ham of Gray; grandchildren, Cody Lee Hammock of Gray, Dusty William Long of Gray, and Marie Michelle Long-Leonard of Gray; great grandchildren, Auston Jordan Long, Layla Marie Long and Jacob Clay Leonard; and sister, Paulette R.
