Macon- Elsie Hammock Williams, 83, of Macon, GA died Monday, December 22, 2008 at Myrtle Beach Manor, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born on February 12, 1925 in Twiggs County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Julia Crosby Hammock. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Randall Walker Williams (Ruth) of Gordon, GA; two daughters, Judy Jones (Richard) of North Myrtle Beach and Donna W. Kent (Sammy) of Macon, GA; one brother, Carnage Crosby Hammock of Macon; two grandchildren, John Randall Williams (Jill) and Sarah Farlan Williams, both of Atlanta, GA, and one great-grandchild, Colin Walker Williams. She was predeceased by her husband, John Walker Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Antioch Baptist Church, Dry Branch, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pettis Cemetery, Gordon, GA.
