Ella Mae Gaston Ware

Ella Mae Gaston Ware, 82, of Dry Branch, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. Funeral services will be private.

Ella was born on March 29, 1940, to the late Johnnie Gaston and Geneva Lamar Gaston. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Rescare Homecare. She was a member of Reid’s Church of God in Christ.  More than anything, Ella loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Freddy Lee Ware.

Ella is survived by her children: George Anthony Gaston of Dry Branch, Georgia, Victor Moore (Monica) of New York, Frederica Ware Stewart of Dry Branch, Georgia, Cathy Anderson of Dry Branch, Georgia, and Gregory Bivins of Jones County; grandchildren: Kametrius Bond (Teregie), Victor Moore, Victoria Moore, Jahmal Ware, Jonathon Stewart, Madisyn Stewart, Dornesha Anderson, and Maya Thomas (Courtney); great-grandchildren: Tavione Bond, Allanah, Jamari, Paryss, Jaiden Ware, Mariya Mims, Joshua Milner Jr., and Erin Thomas; great great-grandchildren, Titus Bond; sisters, Beverly Dortch (Fernando), Linda Wimberly, and Saundra Gaston, all of New Jersey; brothers, Walter Gaston and Larry Gaston, both of New Jersey; two God children, Mary P. Dixon (Roland) and Maurice Hoskin (Tyree); and many nieces and nephews.
