Elizabeth Nancy Williamson

Macon-Elizabeth Powell Williamson, 64, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Funeral services will be held in conjunction with that of Mrs. Shirley Stephan at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Vineville Baptist Church with Dr. Tripp Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be between 6:00-7:30PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia Masonic Home, 1417 Nottingham Drive, Macon, Georgia 31211.

Mrs. Williamson was raised at the Georgia Masonic Home. She attended Vineville Baptist Church. She received a Bachelor's degree from West Georgia College and her Master's degree from Georgia College. Mrs. Williamson retired as a school teacher from the Bibb County School System.

Survivors include her son, Wade Williamson (Kim) of Macon; granddaughter, Banks Williamson of Macon; three sisters, Mozell Bryant of Macon, Arlieree Miller of Rockledge, and Joyce Powell Marshall of Macon; and brother, Doston Powell of Macon.
