Elizabeth "Betty" Davis Lindsey, 82, passed away Friday November 28, 2008. Funeral Services will be held Monday December 1, 2008, at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00AM with the Reverend Thurman Collins officiating. Entombment will be private in the Macon Memorial Park VA Mausoleum next to her late husband, R.J. Lindsey, Sr. Visitation will be Sunday November 30, 2008, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola on Peake Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions made be made to the Baby Ruby Heart Fund, c/o Security Bank of Gray, P.O. Box 1269, Gray, GA 31032. The family may be contacted at 4765 Oxford Road. Mrs. Lindsey was member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and the J.C. Johnson Sunday School Class. Survivors: Daughter, Sherry Bennett (Tom) of Macon; Daughter, Cindy McLeod (Gary) of McDonough; Son, Ross Lindsey of Macon; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; Sister, Helen Wiley of Griffin; Brother, Edward Davis of Tifton and numerous nieces and nephews.
