Elizabeth Hutto, 89, of Wrightsville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Hart’s at the Cupola. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Bob Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hutto was born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 11, 1936, to the late John Thomas Roach and Lizzie Welborn Roach. She was a faithful member of Harvest Cathedral Church and found great joy in her family and her faith. She especially loved cooking with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories in the kitchen, and she will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother.
Mrs. Hutto is survived by her children: Geanette Brown of Dublin, Georgia, Rita Brown, Keith Hopper, Teresa Sidney, and Daniel “Danny” Hopper, all of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren: Brandon Hopper, Dustin Hopper, Angie Lubeck, Christy Lubeck, Victoria Burkett, Jeff Logan, Kyle, Hopper, Danielle Hopper, Dennis Brown, Brandy Burkurht, Ronnie Brown, Autumn Jones, and Heather Brown; great-grandchildren: Jason McMillan, Daisy McMillan, Laycee Etheridge, Landon Vaughn, Kalyee Etheridge, Baylee Etheridge, Abbigail Etheridge, Trinity Jones, Kyle Logan, Katlin Vaughn, Grayson Tolliver, Baylee Hopper, and Camden Hopper; great great grandkids, Jerado Zavala, Lucas Zavala, and Kamila Zavala.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutto was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Hutto; first husband, Charles Edward Hopper; and son, Daniel Hopper.
