Elizabeth "Tippy" Eubanks Lindsay moved on from this world on October 20, 2015, four days after celebrating her 95th birthday with her personal favorite of chocolate cake and dill pickles. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, at 11:00AM, with visitation starting at 10:00AM. Born in Tallassee, Alabama, she travelled the world as a member of an Air Force family, and resided her last several years in Warner Robins, and at Carlyle Place. She retired from Civil Service after working at Robins Air Force Base, following which she worked for Southern Home Care Services (ResCare) in Macon, finally fully retiring at age 86. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Eugene K. Lindsay; and her daughter, Genie McDougal. She is survived by son, Dr. William Lindsay (Dawn); son-in-law, Alan McDougal; grandchildren, Shannon McDougal, Kelley McDougal, Jon Minney (Janea), Faith Lindsay, and Bryn Lindsay; great grandchildren, Avery, Artem, Jeremiah, and Nathan; as well as the extensive Eubanks clan, whom she thoroughly enjoyed vacationing with yearly. She was a true Southern Lady who will be missed by all those who were fortunate to have known her great spirit, kindness, and gentle nature. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
