Elizabeth "Libby" Doss

Macon-Elizabeth "Libby" Doss, 58, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Pastor Paul Dziadul and Michael Carswell officiating. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2010 between 6:00-8:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola. The family will receive visitors at 3614 McKenzie Dr, Macon, GA 31204. Mrs. Doss served her community in numerous capacities for over forty years. She was proud to be the wife of a career Macon police officer. Survivors include her husband, Chief Lionel Doss of Macon; daughters, Cherie Dorton, Michelle Canady, Chandra Sutton (Scott) all of Macon, and Ann Bright (Jeremy) of Ider, AL; son, Lionel Martin Doss of Macon; brother, Aubrey L. "Rocky" Martin (Paula) of Macon; sister, Jackie Stuart of Macon; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
