Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Goodwin

Forsyth,GA- Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Goodwin, 76, of 1785 Zellner Road, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Chip Grantham officiating. Burial will be at 1:00PM at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, on Monday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Mrs. Goodwin was the daughter of the late James Ozzie Sexton and the late Alma Martin Sexton. She was a Methodist. Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her husband, James Edwin Goodwin; sons, Michael Frank Goodwin (Debra) of Cordele, GA and Edwin Alan Goodwin (Linda) of Forsyth, GA; step-grandchildren, Katrina Wheeler of West Palm Beach, FL, Jessica Harper and Sam Gladney, both of Cordele, GA, Kelly Robertson of Buford, GA, Pamela Vinson of Nashville, TN and Susan Sidari of Washington, DC; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
