Elizabeth Jane Betleyoun

Ms. Elizabeth Jane Betleyoun, 77, of Macon, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Ms. Betleyoun was a faithful Christian and a long-time member of Martha Bowman Methodist Church.  She was known as a fierce Bunko player and a voracious reader.  Ms. Betleyoun loved animals and supported our armed forces as a member of the USO.  She worked for the phone service for over thirty-five years and was a part of the Telephone Pioneers, an organization dedicated to preserving the history of telecommunications.  Her memory will be cherished by the friends and loved ones she leaves behind.

Ms. Betleyoun is preceded in death by her parents, Goliath and Lucy Betleyoun; and her brother, Gola Betleyoun.  She is survived by her brothers, Amos Betleyoun and Clarence Betleyoun; sister, Carol Carter; nephew, Timothy Phillip Carter (Melissa); and great-nephews, Noah and Evan Carter.
