Elizabeth Abell

Macon-Elizabeth Norman Abell, 84, died Thursday, October 16, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Hart's at the Cupola Chapel, 6324 Peake Road with Pastor Jerry Dingmore officiating. Family will greet friends one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Methodist Home for Children and Youth, PO Box 2525, Macon, GA 31203. Mrs. Abell was born in Elberton, but spent most of her life in Macon. She was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Elon Webster Abell, Sr.

Mrs. Abell is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Abell Eubanks of Athens; son, Lon W. Abell (Pam) of Forsyth; son, Pierce Abell (Ann) of St. Mary's, GA; five grandchildren, Amy Sprayberry (David), Deedee Eubanks, Elizabeth Abell, Maggie Abell, and Virginia Abell; three great grandchildren, Madeline Sprayberry, Abby Sprayberry, and John Sprayberry.
