Eleanor Milner Newland

Eleanor Milner Newland, age 75, passed away at home in Macon, Georgia on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 511 High Place, Macon, Georgia, 31201. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Macon. Memorial gifts may be made to the Georgia SPCA. Eleanor was born June 28, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Benjamin Charles and Eleanor (Nora) O'Beirne Milner. She graduated from North Fulton High School in 1959 and Oglethorpe University in 1963. On August 25, 1963 she married Dr. Hillery Reid Newland. Eleanor is survived by her husband Dr. Newland, their three children, Benjamin Newland, Sarah Jorgensen and Emily Reichman, and ten grandchildren. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
