Elaine B. Garrard

Elaine B. Garrard, 89, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2:00PM in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Rex Odom will officiate. The family will greet friends Monday, March 17 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heritage at Bass United Methodist Church, 4062 Vineville Ave., Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. Garrard was born in Macon, GA to the late Oscar and Dovie Becham. She was a member of Heritage at Bass United Methodist Church, Friendship Sunday School class and The Women’s Circle. Mrs. Garrard was predeceased by her husband, McDonald Garrard and her son, Don Garrard.

She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Danny) Thompson; grandson, Matt Thompson; granddaughter, Tiffany Thompson; two great grandchildren; brother, Larry Becham; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
