Eileen Duncan Epps Dry Branch- Eileen Duncan Epps, 88, of 4970 Old Gordon Road, died Saturday, January 10, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 3:30PM, Monday, January 12, 2009, at Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Dr. A. Jerrell Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. The family may be contacted at the residence. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 130, Dry Branch, GA 31020. Mrs. Epps, a homemaker, was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was a former WMU President, former director of the RA's, and teacher of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Epps; parents, Albert A. and Sally M. Duncan; two brothers, Mike Duncan and Albert Duncan; and two sisters, Vivian Duncan Epps and Myrtie Duncan Dinkins. Mrs. Epps is survived by four children, Sandra Epps Jones of Dry Branch, James Epps, Jr. (Kathryn) of Dry Branch, Richard Epps (Peggie) of Gray, and Tammy Epps Thomas (Ray) of Dry Branch; eight grandchildren, Ron Jones, John Jones, Pam Epps Coussons (Derick), Jae Epps (Christine), Lesley Epps Hodgin (Richie), Rick Epps (Elizabeth), Staci Epps Cofty (Eric), and Will Mizell; ten great grandchildren; sister, Helen Duncan Tabor of Belvedere, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
