Edwin F. Okulanis

Edwin F. Okulanis passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Mr. Okulanis was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in WWII. When he semi-retired, he moved to Traverse City, Michigan where he purchased and ran a cherry orchard. He loved his family and enjoyed his life on the farm.

Mr. Okulanis was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Amelita Jarecki and his daughter, Janice Marie Scaruto.

Mr. Okulanis is survived by his daughter, Antoinette Bryant of Aspen, Colorado; son, Gary Kent Okulanis (Karen) of Calabash, North Carolina; grandchildren: Christopher Bryant, Morgan O’Connell (Tim), Evan Okulanis (Jennifer), Sarah Scaruto (Greg), Matthew Scaruto, and Brenna Scaruto; and great-grandchildren: Chase O’Connell, Charlie O’Connell, and Baylie O’Connell.
