Edward Ray Epps

Macon- Edward Ray Epps, 61, of 115 Inlet Way, went home to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on April 12, 2009. Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 11:00AM at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Brad Marchman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Ray was a God fearing Christian who loved his children, grandchildren and family. He was a retired machinist who was well known for his knowledge of sports and sports collectibles. He was a member of the Macon and Warner Robins Coin Clubs. Mr. Epps was predeceased by his loving parents, Evelyn King Epps and Clifford Eugene Epps, Sr., and his brother, C. E. "Pete" Epps, Jr. Mr. Epps is survived by his son, Jody Mark Epps of Macon; daughter, Brandi Epps Hardin (James) of Macon; grandchildren, Zachary J. Epps, James B. Hardin and Kelly C. Hardin, all of Macon; brother, W. Tommy Epps (Joanne) of Warner Robins, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Online register is located at www.hartsmort.com.
