Edward Lamar Beck, Jr.

Edward Lamar Beck, Jr., 76, of Byron, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025.   A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Robbie Passmore officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a local pet rescue group such as the Warner Robins Human Society at https://www.humanesocietyhoco.org/donate.

Edward was born on July 2, 1948, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Edward Lamar Beck, Sr., and Alma Beth Beck.  Edward was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was very proud of his service and loved being an American.  Edward worked at both Coliseum Hospital and Medical Center of Central Georgia as a medical technologist.  Besides being a dedicated worker, he loved music and being patriotic.  He loved his family and will be missed dearly.

Edward is survived by his wife, Debra Beck; his sisters, Betty Golden (Byron), Jackie Wallace (Dave), and Brenda Tribble; his sisters-in-law, Betty Boswell (Larry) and Geneva Minter (James); and his brother-in-law, Charlie Hobbs (Bobbie).
