Edna Underwood Jones

Edna Underwood Jones, devoted wife of the late Dr. John Paul Jones, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:00PM at Highland Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Bruner and the Reverend Cass DuCharme officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends in the Great Room at the church one hour prior to the service and may be contacted at the residence of Susan and Girard Jones, 327 Wesley Circle, Macon, Georgia 31204. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Highland Hills Baptist Church, 1370 Briarcliff Road, Macon, Georgia 31211 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons, John Paul Jones, Jr., George Girard Jones (Susan) and Dr. David Wagner Jones (Debbie); nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters and a loving extended family.
