Edna Daniels "Gran" Wilkes

Edna Daniels "Gran" Wilkes died Saturday, June 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola. The Reverend Brad Marchman will officiate. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Monday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola. Mrs. Wilkes was a member of West Highland Baptist Church and a secretary for Murphey, Taylor & Ellis. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was the daughter of the late Judson and Mabell Daniels and the widow of James Woodrow "Gramps" Wilkes. She was predeceased by her daughter, Pat Wilkes Walker, and her sister, Betty Pierce. Mrs. Wilkes is survived by three grandchildren: Kim McDaniel (Gary Bryant), Karen Garrett (Tony), and Keith Walker (Julie), all of Macon; great-grandchildren: Jade and Paige McDaniel, Matt and Blake Bryant, Dallas Scott, Sydney Garrett, Colby Garrett, Ashton Walker, and Ryan Walker; and great-great-grandchildren: Landon Bryant, Lexi Bryant, and Audrey Bryant; niece, Cathy Pierce; and nephew, Tommy Pierce.
