Edna Vinson Bullington

Edna Vinson Bullington, 92, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Lizella United Methodist Church with the Reverend Loran Smith and Dr. Frank McCook officiating. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park. Family will greet friends between 6:00-8:00PM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Mrs. Bullington was a member of Lizella United Methodist Church and the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was very active in the Western Square Dance movement in Macon and was a founding member of the Whirl-A-Ways Square Dance Club and member of "Y" Squares at the YWCA. She taught art and took art classes at Wesleyan College. She was a graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta and the High Museum of Art School in Atlanta. She taught art at her house. She was a member of Macon Arts Alliance. Mrs. Bullington was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Curtis Daniel Vinson and Eva Estelle Trimble Vinson; and her brother, J.C. Vinson. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, F.L. "Tony" Bullington of Lizella, Georgia; sons, Francis L. "Toby" Bullington (Rhonda), David Daniel Bullington (Suzette), and Eddy Earl Bullington all of Lizella; grandchildren, Cory Bullington, Debbie Quattrin, Dana Bullington Owen, David Bullington, and Casey Bullington; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and sister, Myrtle "Sunny" Fraser of Conyers, Georgia.
