Edith Cavell White Sellers

Macon- Edith Cavell White Sellers, 89, of 2394 Vineville Avenue, Apartment 1310, died Monday, November 22, 2010. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, Highway 341, Perry, Georgia. The family may be contacted at 1685 Rivoli Lane and will greet friends on Friday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Mrs. Sellers was a member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ. She had a love for cooking and was known for her delicious cakes. Daughter of the late Charles White and the late Margaret Judith Huff White and the wife of the late Mearl John Sellers, Mrs. Sellers was also predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Hiram Jackson, and by her son, William Larry Sellers.

Mrs. Sellers is survived by her sons, Mike Sellers (Patti) of Macon and Glenn Sellers (Joyce) of Gray; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Brad Stevens and to the staff at Pine Pointe Hospice for the love and care they gave to Mrs. Sellers during her illness.
