Eden Persons Perkins

Eden Persons Perkins, 71, passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, November 15, 2018. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00AM at Vineville United Methodist Church with Dr. Jimmy Asbell and Dr. Billy Oliver officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the Christian Life Center at the church.

Eden was born in Macon to the late Henry Pinkney Persons, Jr. and Eden Taylor Persons. She was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School. She attended Queens College and was a graduate of Wesleyan College. She was a seventh and eighth grade math teacher and tennis coach at Stratford Academy. Eden was a Real Estate Broker at Murphey, Taylor, & Ellis and Sheridan, Solomon and Associates. She was an American Contract Bridge League Silver Life Master. Eden was a member of Idle Hour Country Club and Highlands Falls Country Club.

Eden is survived by her husband of 12 years, Len Perkins of Macon, Georgia; two daughters, Taylor Miller (Jeff) of Athens, and Anne Jeffcoat (Brad) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; two stepsons, Tommy Perkins (Jamie) of Austin, Texas, and Ben Perkins (Sally) of Savannah, Georgia; granddaughter, Annie Miller; four step-grandchildren: Griffin Perkins, Julia Perkins, Benjamin Perkins, Helen Perkins; four siblings: Pink Persons, III (Liz), Bryan Persons (Nelle), Logan Persons, and Peter Persons (Colyar), all of Macon; and nieces and nephews, Pink Persons IV, Laura Persons, Page Munro (Euan), Benton Persons, Pierce Persons, Henry Persons, Robert Persons, Madison Barnett and Matthews Barnett.
