Dwight Hamilton Freeman died November 25, 2011. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2011 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina. The family will greet friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Hart's at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church choir ministry, 1415 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia, 31210. Mr. Freeman was born in Beaufort, South Carolina on December 5, 1953. He attended The Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University. Mr. Freeman was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from IBM in Owego, New York. After retirement, he was self employed as a local defense contractor representative. Survivors include his wife, Julie Hathaway Freeman of Macon; stepsons, Jeremy Brandon Carroll (Jennifer Leigh) of Eatonton and Justin Brian Carroll of Eastman; and grandchild, Anna Elizabeth Carroll of Eatonton.
