Drew Bernard Hale

Drew Bernard Hale, 77, of Perry, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Andrew Church, 2430 Hwy 127, Kathleen, GA 31047, with the Reverend Carl Barnhardt officiating.

Son of the late Drew Pratt Hale and Helen Stokes Hale, Drew was born in Petersburg, Virginia on September 27, 1947. He carried with him a profound artistic talent and earned a bachelor's degree from the Atlanta School of Fine Arts.

A man of faith, Drew was an active member of Andrew Church, where his love for Christian music was only matched by his dedication to reading the Bible and staying informed through his daily reading of the newspaper. His creative spirit and kind soul left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Drew is survived by his siblings, W.D. Hale of Amelia Island, Florida, Stanley Young Pratt Hale (Jeannie) of Kathleen, Georgia, and Cappy Hale Moor (Gary) of Macon, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, Drew was preceded in death by his brother, Allie David Hale.
