Douglas "Wayne" Dinkins

Douglas “Wayne” Dinkins, 62, of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Hart’s Mortuary Jones County Chapel, with the Reverend Wanda Busby officiating.   Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Wayne was born to the late Horace Dinkins and Nellie Hutchinson Dinkins on June 10, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia.   He loved riding motorcycles and cooking. He worked as a restaurant manager at Huddle House.

Wayne is survived by his children: Kristi Cooper-Wasik (Kari), of Dallas, Georgia, David Dinkins (Monique), of Macon, Georgia, Karyn Dinkins Thomas (David E.), and Ashley Boyce; sisters, Kay Dauenhauer and Diane Rowland, both of Gray, Georgia; step-mother, Brenda Dinkins; and nine grandchildren.

Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements.
