Douglas Wayne Bennett, Jr. "Doug" died Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Doug was born in Macon, Georgia on September 5, 1970 and lived in Macon all his life. He was the son of Wayne and Carole Bennett. Doug was in the plumbing sales business for years and was recently employed at 49 Wrecker Service. He was a member of APA pool team and was recently inducted into the APA Leagues 500 Club. He was an accomplished pool player with a rating of six. Doug was a great friend to many people - always there for his friends and family. He was one of the "good guys" and was loved dearly by so many.
