Douglas Martin Ausderau

Macon-Douglas Martin Ausderau, 59, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Memorial services will be at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with full military honors. Pastor Tim Kelly will officiate. Burial will be at sea. Family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 200 Northside Crossing, Macon, Georgia 31209. Mr. Ausderau retired from the United States Navy as a Command Master Chief after 31 years of service to his country. He is survived by his wife, Rachell Ausderau of Macon; sons, Steward Hooper (Pam) of Gautier, Mississippi, Douglas Ausderau, Jr. (Diana) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Jason Ausderau (Shannon) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Kaytilyn Hooper, Camryn Hooper, Samuel Ausderau, and Erin Ausderau; sisters, Cheryl Eastep of Byers, Colorado, and Karen Luderman (Paul) of Niagara Falls, NY; brothers, Keith Ausderau of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and James Lloyd of New York, NY.
