Doug "Workinman" Kohlmayer

Doug Kohlmayer fell asleep in death peacefully at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren on December 26, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 5:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032. A visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "All About Animals", 101 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31201. Doug was predeceased by his parents George and Betty Lou Kohlmayer. His greatest hobbies were his grandchildren, his CB buddies, Budweiser and grilling. He took pride in serving his customers as owner of AA Action Fence for over 20 years. Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marie Kohlmayer of Gray; Five children, Jennifer Floyd of Alabama, Elizabeth Kohlmayer England (Royce) of Byron, Chad Kohlmayer (Kimberly) of Macon, Miki Kohlmayer of Gray and Austin Kohlmayer (Jonah) of Gray; Nineteen Wonderful Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter; sister, Jeanette Nothaft of New Jersey; and brother John Kohlmayer of New Jersey.
