Dorothy Lee Mckee

Dorothy Lee Webb McKee, 87, died in her home Sunday, July 15. Services will be held Monday, July 23, 2012, at 11:00 am at Clinton United Methodist Church in Gray, GA, followed by burial at Clinton Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. She was a graduate of Girls High in Atlanta, GA, Agnes Scott College (Phi Beta Kappa) and the University of Tennessee. She was predeceased by her sister, Julia Barron Webb Gates and by her parents Emory Lee Webb and Julia Clay Barron Webb.

Dot McKee was a retired instructor at AUM in the biology department where she taught both introductory and advanced classes. She also was a biology lab instructor at Huntingdon College.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Richard Miles and Renee H. McKee of Cary, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law Patricia Lee McKee Pagel Smith and Robert W. Smith of Silk Hope, North Carolina; grandsons Adam Miles McKee of Cary, North Carolina; Michael Neal McKee of Raleigh, North Carolina; Mark Rogers McKee of Raleigh, North Carolina; and Alexander Lee McKee of Cary, North Carolina; nieces and nephews.
