Dorothy Ethridge Lands

Dorothy Louise Lands, 90, went home peacefully to her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Services will be held Monday, September 19, at 10:30AM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA. Friends & family will be welcome one hour before the service on Monday morning. Born July 21, 1926 in James, Ga, she was the daughter of the late Lewis (Skip) & Louise Ethridge of Jones Co. She met her Sweetheart, Murry, at Robin's Air Force Base during WWII. They were married 56 years. She will be buried by his side in James Cemetery. Survivors include her two children, Marc (Deanna) Lands & Betty (Don) Pyles; seven grandchildren; and eleven greatgrandchildren. She prayed daily for each one by name and had a heart to share Jesus with those around her.
