Dorothy O. Dunham

Dorothy Olivia Hickman Hayes Dunham, 84, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Dorothy was born June 3, 1939, in Washington, DC, to the late Frederick Rodeffer Hickman and Sarah Olivia Schafer Hickman.  She married the late James Henry Hayes, III in Arlington, Virginia on September 05, 1959, and later married the late William Francis Dunham, Jr. on June 06, 1982, in Greenbelt, Maryland.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her son, Darin Frederick Hayes.  She is survived by her daughter, Monica Lynne Hayes Rushford of West Plains, Missouri; her son, Kevin Randall Hayes of Macon, Georgia; her grandchildren James Gordon Rushford and Heather Renee Cronican; and great grandchildren, James Pierce Rushford and Chase Gordon Rushford.

Dorothy’s past residences include Washington, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia.  She thoroughly enjoyed her many tours and cruises….and, obviously, moving and seeing new places and making new friends.
