Dorothy "Dot" Dove

Dorothy "Dot" Dove, of Gray, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 3:00 PM, at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. The Reverend Gary Thomas will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 3:00 PM, in Tallulah Falls United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dove was born April 25, 1924, in Greenwood, SC. She was the wife of the late Relton Dove. Mrs. Dove was a retired payroll clerk from the Kliklok Woodman Company. She was a loving Army wife that always moved with a smile on her face. Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by her parents, George Van and Vannie Mae Garrett, and her brother, Julian Garrett. Survivors: Daughter, Anne (Ray) Cochran; Son, Bob (Linda) Dove; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
