Dorothy Mae "Dot" Ryle

Dorothy Mae "Dot" Ryle, 85, of 225 Broadmoor Drive, Advance, North Carolina, died Sunday, December 22, 2013. Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00AM at Berean Baptist Church, 5151 Columbus Road, with the Reverend Joe Bowker officiating. Burial will follow at Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at 7761 Rivoli Road and will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Berean Baptist Church, 5151 Columbus Road, Macon, Georgia 31206. Mrs. Ryle was a member of Berean Baptist Church. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she moved to Macon when she was seventeen years old. She was the daughter of the late Glenn Robinett and the late Virginia Allen Robinett and the wife of the late Vernon Balkcom Ryle, Jr., to whom she was married on January 7, 1946. She was also predeceased in death by a son-in-law, Richard P. Tyson. Mrs. Ryle is survived by her children, Vernon Ryle, III (Toni) of Macon, Toni Cole (Mark) of Nashville, Tennessee, Angela Tyson of Macon and Lori Russ (Andy) of Advance, North Carolina; grandchildren, Vernon Ryle IV (Amy) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Heather Frazier (David) of Smyrna, Tennessee, Jennifer Melchiore (Gary Dayton) of Lexington, Kentucky, Ashley Edgin (Michael) of Smyrna, Tennessee, Mathew Melchiore of Duluth, Georgia, Brendon Tyson and Danielle Tyson, both of Macon, Lindsey Scott (Shane) of Kathleen, Georgia and Adam Russ of Advance, North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Connor Vernon Ryle, Natalia Pearl Melchiore-Dayton, Caitlin Gracie Frazier, Sophia Renee Edgin, Kelsey Tyson, Tanner Nicholas Scott, and Braelyn Nicole Scott.
