Dorothy Brack Dent

Dorothy (Dot) B. Dent passed away on July 13, 2015. She was 88 years old. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00AM at Greenwood Baptist Church, where she was a member of the congregation, Fidelis Sunday School Class, Goldenagers Choir and Goldtimers. Mrs. Dent was the daughter of the late Mattie and Guy Brack. She was born and educated in Wilkinson County. She was married to Harold E. Dent, Sr. Mrs. Dent was retired from Sear's Credit Central and worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart. Mrs. Dent is survived by a daughter, Vickie (Jerry) McKinney of Florida; sons, Harold E. (Debra) Dent, Jr. of Georgia and Ronald D. (Jeanie) Dent of Florida; grandchildren, Nickie Fleming, Brandi Jones, Tripp Dent, Haley Dent and Alexis Casari; great-grandchildren, Brodey and Ella Fleming. Mrs. Dent was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Dent, Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Gay and Vera Yaun; brothers, Sam, McKinzie and Melvin (Pete) Brack; grandson, Paul Nelson, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00Pm until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia.
