Doris Jernigan passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Central Baptist Church, Hwy. 129, Gray, GA 31032, with Dr. Tommy Jordan officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Doris is predeceased by her husband, Robert Coplon Jernigan. Doris is survived by her children, Sherrie Wilbourne (Terry) of Byron, Luann Bloodworth (Zeke) of Gray, Vicki James (Phil) of Pinnacle, NC, and Traci Bowden (Darrin) of Gray; grandchildren, Bobby Wilbourne, Samantha Wilbourne, Coplon Lindemann, Robbie Bloodworth, Taylor Drago (Joey), Dade Bowden, Andrew Bowden and Renee Lawson; great grandchildren, Xander Lindemann and Rayden Drago; brother, Robert Mixter; sister, Shirley Shacka; and caregiver, Carl Thomas of Gray.
