Doris Laverne Ford: of Macon, Georgia passed away December 14, 2013. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Matt Brown will officiate. Born in Macon, she was retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base and was a lifelong member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her cousins, Janice Tolbert, and Pat Tye, both of Macon and Luanne Hardy of Lizella, Ga. Flowers will be accepted, but memorials may be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Macon, Georgia 31210. Friends may sign the online register at www.hartsmort.com.
