Doris Manning Case, 87, passed peacefully at a local hospital after an extended illness on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, with Reverend Matt Roberts officiating. The burial will follow in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Ms. Case was the daughter of the late Marion Carswell Cooper and Eve Smith Cooper. She was retired from Lowe Electric Company and was an instructor for cosmetology. Ms. Case was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Survivors include her daughters, Nelva Harrison (Fred) and Wanda Parrish; grandchildren, Jon Harrison (Valerie), Julie Harris, Eugene Parrish (Sheryl) and Amanda Hensley (Jeff); numerous great grandchildren; the loves of her life, her great, great grandchildren, Eli and Wyatt; brother, Marion Cooper (Marian); sisters, Emily Fejes (Andy) and Fay Kilgore (Bruce); numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
