Dora Johnson Hamrick

Dora Johnson Hamrick went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 25, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Randall Mimbs officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at 1157 Boy Scout Road, Byron, GA., the residence of Pat and Sonny Patterson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Oaks at Peake Pruitt Health Residents' Fund, 6190 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Dora was the former wife of the late Shedrick G. Hamrick of Twiggs County. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Eula Johnson of Warren County, and three grandchildren, Gerald Wayne Payton Jr., Heather Diane Watson and Joel Matthew Hamrick. She was a private sitter at all of the hospitals in middle Georgia. Dora is survived by her daughter, Nancy Liles of Byron, GA; son, Ron Hamrick (Joan) of Ridgefield, WA; daughter, Betty Payton (Gerald) of Mt. Airy, GA; son, Jerry Hamrick (Lisa) of Lizella, GA; twelve grandchildren, Patricia Patterson (Sonny) of Byron, GA, Randy Green (Donna) of Stephen City, VA, Trina Williams (Sean) of Chattanooga, TN, Eric Blaine (Stephanie) of Orlando, FL, Tony Blaine (Kathy) of Orlando, FL, Ronnie Hamrick of Vancouver, WA, Joanna Anthony of Vancouver, WA, Bethany Graves of Vancouver, WA, Holly Adams (Tony) of Cornelia, GA, Jason Payton (Heidi) of Rome, GA; Damien Hamrick (Stacey) of Black Mtn., NC, Chris Hamrick (Kacie) of Whitehouse, TN; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
