Dry Branch,GA- Donnie Edgar McCay, Sr., 63, of 257 McCay Lane, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Services will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in McCay Family Cemetery, Twiggs County. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends at Hart's Mortuary on Saturday from 4:00PM until 6:00PM. Mr. McCay was an aircraft mechanic for twenty-eight years with the Georgia Forestry Commission and was the owner of Donnie's Deer and Wild Hog Processing in Dry Branch. Mr. McCay is survived by his wife, Linda McCay of Dry Branch; children, Lori Findlay of Gray, GA, and Donnie McCay, Jr. and Jennifer Thomas, both of Dry Branch; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ronnie McCay of Gray, Danny McCay of Waco, Kentucky, Linda Chandler and Lavona Chandler, both of Gordon, Lynn Nobles and Frankie Crawley, both of Jones County, Lee Chandler of Germany, Charles Chandler, Sr. and Jerry Chandler, both of Gordon, and Larry Chandler of Atlanta.
