Donnie was born in Macon, February 4, 1943, to the late Frank Kilgore and Louise Caldwell Kilgore. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Kilgore; one son, Greg Kilgore (Hope); granddaughter, Regan Kilgore; three sisters, Patti Chapman (Ramon DeMichiel), Amy Tidwell (Robbie), and Kim Najera (Larry); nieces and nephews, Jason Chapman, Mandy Howard (Wes), Taylor Moulton, Dennis Kilgore, Jr., Andrea Lopez, and Allison Owczarek (Dave). Donnie was preceded in death by Dennis Kilgore (Olivia).
Donnie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a true servant of Jesus Christ. He always put his family and friends above his own needs. He enjoyed the simple things in life, such as hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. One of his favorite ways of lending a hand was cutting and removing trees with chainsaws. He did this for a countless number of people and continued until his illness progressed.
There will be a void in our lives as well as the world that can never be filled.
Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements.
