Donald “Don” Elwin Warren

Donald “Don” Elwin Warren, 72, of Macon, GA, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Chapel of the Cupola.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210 or All About Animals, P.O. Born September 13, 1950, in Jefferson, Texas to the late Edward Elwin and Opal Marie Carpenter Warren, Don spent most of his life working with Industrial Scale Systems.  He had a knack for all things mechanical.

Don enjoyed many activities, including fishing, cooking, and wood working.  He enjoyed many roles throughout his life, but his favorite role was that of a father.  He enjoyed spending time with his adult children, grandchildren, and he had an unending love for his dogs.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Warren.

Donald is survived by his wife, Carol Warren of Macon; children, Debra Rowe (Ronald) of Leesburg, Georgia, Dona Miller (Rob) of Danielsville, Georgia, and Chance Warren (Jennifer) of Watkinsville, Georgia; grandchildren, Spencer Rowe (Caitlin), Hayes Rowe (Savannah), Grant Miller (Addie), Peyton Miller, Chance “Bo” Warren, Jr., Olivia Warren, and Charlotte Warren; great grandchild, Elizabeth Dutton; and sister, Diatha White of Houston, Texas.
