Donald Theodore Cameron, II, known affectionately as Donny by his friends and family, passed away on June 1, 2025, in Macon, Georgia, at the age of 57. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Son of the late Donald Theodore Cameron and Nellie Ryals Cameron, Donny was born in Macon on July 7, 1967. He dedicated 32 years of his life to military service, proudly wearing the uniforms of the Air Force, the Navy, and the Air National Guard. He was known for his unwavering commitment and love for his country.

Donny had a love for deep sea fishing and playing softball throughout his years in the military. He was a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed watching the races with a cold beer in hand. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family.

Donny will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Misti Cameron (Alexis) and Morgan Cameron; grandson, Randy Akers; sisters, Theresa Slider (Terry) and Robin Baggerly (Bobby); several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
