Dinah Cutter Brown

Dinah Cutter Brown, 83, of Macon, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020.  Graveside services will be private at Riverside Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

Born June 22, 1936 in Greenville, South Carolina, Dinah moved to Macon as a young child and lived here the remainder of her life. After graduating from Miller High School, she attended, and later graduated, from Mercer University.  There, she met her future husband, Bobby Brown. They were married 52 years before his passing in 2008.

Dinah accompanied her coaching husband to many Macon schools, where she enjoyed many years of attending football, basketball, and baseball games. She was an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church (Woodruff Class), the Macon Service League, Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and several local bridge clubs.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby E. Brown, and her sister, Dixie Hill. She is survived by her children, Keith (Stella) Brown of St. Simons Island, Georgia and Kelly (Jeff) Clark of Jackson, Georgia; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brother, Smith (Cheryl) Cutter of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
