Dewey Lee Wooten

Mr. Dewey Lee Wooten passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 11:00AM at New Hope Baptist Church, 1393 GA Highway 49, Macon, GA 31211. The Reverend David Long and Reverend Len Woodard will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the Hart's Mortuary Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, Georgia 31032. Dewey was a retired auto mechanic and a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he was a member of the senior adult class. He loved to fish and loved his family. Mr. Wooten is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gladys Peavy Wooten of Jones County, Georgia; son Aaron Wooten of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Catherine Wooten of Milledgeville, Georgia; son, Ronnie Wooten of Milledgeville, Georgia; step-daughters, Joy Martin (Henry) and Angie McKinney (Lee) of Macon, Georgia; step sons, Richard Soles (Carol) and Ray Soles (Debbie) of Macon, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
