Denise Clanton-Dixon, 49, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105. Denise was born in Macon and was the owner and operator of Dixon Painting and Contractors. Denise was an expert painter. Survivors include her loving companion of 23 years, Ray Dixon; children, Chris Clements and Roy Bridges; step-children, Skeeter Dixon, Trey Dixon and Terri Dixon; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Pat Plummer and Debra Lewis; brother, Buster Clanton; several nieces and nephews; and her companion, Butch.
