Deborah Sawyer Horton

Macon- Deborah Sawyer Horton, 48, died at her home on Sunday, June 14, 2009. Family visitation will be held at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Graveside services will be at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, Joycliff Road, on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 10:00AM. Kyle Sawyer will officiate. Deborah graduated from Northeast High School with the Class of 1977-1978. Deborah was the beloved Mother of Brandon Horton and Melissa Holbrook. She was predeceased by her husband, Mike Hooks, and by her grandparents, Ben and Susie Lyles. Survivors include her mother, Patricia (Ralph Hopkins) Sawyer; her father, Hilton Sawyer; two brothers, Mark (Cheryl) Sawyer and Scott (Denna) Sawyer; aunt, Gail (Dan) Johnston; two nieces and two nephews.
