Davis Stephen Clark Junior

Davis Stephen Clark Junior peacefully passed away in the arms of his parents on December 18, 2023. He was born at 1:48 PM at 4 pounds 4 ounces, and went to be with Jesus shortly after letting his mom and dad look into his beautiful blue eyes.

Davis Clark Junior was the son of Davis and Caroline Clark. He’s survived by his big sister, Ellerbee Clark. His grandparents David & Holli Clark, Gary Dunn, Ivy & John Oxendine. His aunts and uncles Elizabeth (David), Patrick, Clifton, Lily, Philip, and Jake. And a huge host of extended family and loved ones.

Davis was born to a song version of Psalm 84. His life and the Lord’s love partnered to change everyone who loves him for the better. For that we are truly so thankful. Living a lifetime without our little Davis is agonizing, but the thought of having never met him is much more painful. We are forever grateful to be his parents and to have had time to nurture and know him before he went to perfect eternity. We look forward to being with him again and worshiping together the One who perfectly made him. This is the picture that will get us through the heaviest grief. The Lord has made a way, and we will wait and anticipate this life eternal with hope and peace.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young - a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob. Look on our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one. Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.”
