David Adams

David Adams, 65, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032. Joel Donihoo will be officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Mr. Adams was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Mozelle Adams, and brother, Larry Cartwright. He was a retired boat motor mechanic for Charlie Wood Marine Services, an avid sportsman and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 47 years Betty Adams of Gray; son, Jeff Adams of Marathon, Florida; son, Ken Adams of Jones County; daughter, Melanie Connolly (Kevin) of Gray; son, Wade Adams (Christy) of Jones County; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother Randy Adams of McIntyre, GA.
