David "Dave" A. McCoy, Jr. 73, of Macon, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. The family will greet friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210 or Central Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America, 4335 Confederate Way, Macon, GA 31217. Mr. McCoy retired from GEICO with 42 years of service. He enjoyed camping and woodworking. He collected coins, stamps and McCoy pottery. He was predeceased by his grandson, Lance Michael Stevens. Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna McCoy; daughter, Vicki McCoy Martin (Danny) of Macon; son, David "Alex" McCoy, III (Jennifer) of Copperas Cove, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel A. Martin of Macon, M. Danny Martin of Jacksonville, Florida, Brandon Garza (Amber) of Copperas Cove and Tony Dunfee of Copperas Cove; great-grandson, Bryson Michael Stevens of Copperas Cove; granddaughter-in-law, Maelena Carpenter, Copperas Cove and sister, Ruthanne McCoy of Belleair Bluffs, Florida.
