Daniel Edwin Bailey

Daniel Edwin Bailey, 58, of 436 East Colonial Drive, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola with Sonny Seneker officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or to the charity of the donor's choice. Mr. Bailey, son of the late Graham Edwin Bailey, was predeceased by his sister, Anita Stanhope. He was a 1972 graduate of Mark Smith High School. Mr. Bailey retired from the Great Southern Company after traveling the world for twenty years. He worked with many bands, including Elton John, the Oak Ridge Boys, Iron Maiden, Duran Duran, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and Billy Ray Cyrus. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Donna M. Bailey of Jones County; sons, Edward Bailey (Tammy) of Jones County and Rod Bailey of New York City; grandson, Edward Daniel Bailey, Jr.; mother, Laverne Bailey of Macon; brothers, Stephen Bailey (Terri) of Douglas, Georgia and Glynn Bailey of Macon; nephews, Graham Bailey, Nicholas Bailey, Tyler Ramsey and Pace Bailey; niece, Curi Ahrens.
